PRP Procedure Overview

At Cascade Medical Spa, our PRP for hair restoration begins with an in-depth consultation to evaluate your hair loss and determine if PRP is suited for you. If deemed appropriate, the treatment involves drawing a small sample of your blood, enriching it to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, and then meticulously injecting this into your scalp's areas experiencing hair thinning. Post-treatment, we offer comprehensive aftercare guidance to maximize your hair regrowth results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about PRP hair loss therapy at Cascade Medical Spa and Laser Center.

What is PRP therapy?

PRP therapy, or Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy, is a non-surgical treatment that uses a patient's own blood to stimulate healing and rejuvenation. It involves extracting a small amount of blood, processing it to separate the platelets, and then injecting the concentrated platelets into the targeted area. PRP therapy has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including hair loss, joint pain, and skin rejuvenation.

Is PRP therapy safe?

Yes, PRP therapy is considered safe. Since it uses the patient's own blood, there is minimal risk of an allergic reaction or infection. However, as with any medical procedure, there may be some potential side effects or risks. It is important to consult with a qualified medical professional to determine if PRP therapy is right for you.

How long does PRP therapy take?

Our providers at Cascade do not recommend PRP hair restoration treatments to everyone. A proper diagnosis is required to determine if PRP will be best for you during your free 30 minute consultation. If our providers don’t believe you will get good results, then we will not recommend a treatment plan. We take a very honest and straight forward approach with our customers.

Does PRP therapy hurt?

Most patients report minimal discomfort during PRP therapy. The procedure involves the use of a small needle for the injections, which may cause some mild pain or a sensation of pressure. Your medical provider will work with you to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.
